Dear Community Members,

Thank you for all you do to support our community. As our company is Employee Owned, we would like to update you on what our Employee Owner Team is doing to continue to provide access to physical therapy services in a safe environment, both in our clinics and online. We have 3 options to meet your physical therapy needs, also available at www.avidphysicaltherapy.com

In-Person PT in All Avid Clinic Locations The Department of Homeland Security included PT on the list of Essential Critical Infrastructure on March 19, 2020, and we will remain open during this time but at a very limited capacity dictated by patient condition and medical history/comorbidities. We feel strongly this is the best way we can continue to responsibly serve those in the greatest need and also maintain strict adherence to CDC guidelines while helping to stop the spread of COVID-19. We are encouraging all patients who are able to use our telehealth options.

Telehealth Video Visits We are offering Telehealth video visits with their physical therapists. These appointments are billable through all insurances, except Medicare. For Medicare patients, we are doing similar e-visits via phone call and full access to your movement specialists at Athlon through an online platform called Keet. Medicare patients also have the option to pay cash for the full telehealth video visits.

Self-Care PT via Everflex Health The Everflex product was designed in part by the PT’s in our Movement For Life family of clinics and has been reviewed and verified by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Academy of Orthopaedic Physical Therapy. Upon registration, the patient will answer a few questions similar to an in-person PT visit. If they fall into one of our treatment patterns, for $25 they will receive a 21-day, evidence-based recovery program complete with professionally-planned exercise videos, with verbal and written cues, which can be adjusted to fit the patient’s needs by the patient themselves. Patients can visit https://www.everflexhealth.com/ and click the sign-up button to get access.
