14 years of experience in the care and treatment of HIV, bacteria, viral and parasitic infections. He is highly regarded by his patients and has numerous published scientific research papers in the study of infectious disease. His practice also includes infusion services, hyperbaric O2 therapy that can address a multitude of medical problems including acceleration of healing wounds and diabetic ulcers, increasing circulation and even stimulation of the immune system.
Dr. Younes is a physician dedicated in the treatment of infectious disease not only on a patient level but on a community level. His service to the community hospitals leading programs in antibiotic therapy and addressing infection outbreaks has made him a leader in addressing public health concerns in our community. He has been interviewed by the local television stations for MRSA outbreaks, interviewed by the Healthy Living Magazine for his role as an Expert Medical Reviewer and MRSA expert and interviewed by Desert Health about hyperbaric oxygen therapy indications. He has had numerous scientific research studies published. His most recent achievement for three consecutive years has been bestowed by a patients organization for America’s Most Compassionate Doctors Award in 2012, 2013 and 2014.
