Dr. Mark Sofonio is a long time resident of the Desert Valley. His expertise has won him various awards including the Palm Springs Life “Top Doctor” for Plastic Surgeon selection from 2005-2014. He has received the Humanitarian Award given by the Palm Springs Board of Directors in 2008 and also received a Certificate of Recognition from the California State Legislative Assembly. He continues to address new and innovative options of addressing patient concerns in his field.  He was a presenter at the October 2014  Plastic Surgery Annual Conference in Chicago for the treatment of cutaneous skin cancers with superficial x-rays as a new optional therapy.
